Ambassador Crew Sample Messages & FAQ

Welcome to the Ambassador Crew. We're thrilled to have you!

This page has two parts:

  1.  How the program works. An FAQ so you know exactly what counts, how the rewards work, and how to find your dashboard.
  2. Sample messages for sharing. Starter scripts for the most common ways parents share, like texts, group chats, notes to care professionals, social posts. Use them as-is or adapt them to your voice. Both work.

If anything's confusing, reply to any email from us or text us at 970-478-8141.

How the program works

What counts toward earning a half off a box?

One Youth Diapers box purchase through your link = one 50% off coupon for a box of Youth Diapers (any size).

A "box" is any size of the Youth Diaper. (Sizes 9, 10, and 11 all count.)

Sizing Pack samples do not count toward the two-box threshold. But they still help (see below).

How does the 90-day cookie work?

When someone clicks your link, we remember them for 90 days. Anything they buy in those 90 days, whether that's a Sizing Pack sample, box, or multiple boxes, counts toward your reward.

This matters because the easiest thing to share is the free Sizing Pack sample. Most parents will try a Sizing Pack sample first, then come back for a full box once they find the right fit. As long as the box order happens within 90 days of their click on your link, it counts toward your free box.

So a typical share might look like:

  1. You send someone your link
  2. They click and order a free Sizing Pack sample (doesn't count toward your free box, but the cookie is now attached)
  3. Three weeks later, they order a full box of Youth Diapers (this does count as 1 of 2)
  4. You receive a one-time use code for 50% off your next box of Youth Diapers

What's the value of a box?

Our boxes of tabbed Youth Diapers range, up to $120. You still pay shipping ($8 contiguous US, more for AK and HI). The code is single-use and tied to your account.

How do I claim my discount code?

You don't have to do anything. The moment your qualifying box sale comes through, we'll automatically email you a one-time discount code. You apply it at checkout when you place your next order, whether that's a one-time purchase or a subscription.

Is there a cap on how many discount codes I can earn?

No cap. Every qualifying box sale through your link earns another 50% off coupon.

What if I have a subscription?

Log into your subscription account and apply your discount code toward your next subscription. No need to pause or cancel.

Can I use my own link?

Your link is for sharing with others, not for your own purchases. Self-purchases won't be credited toward your free-box count.

If you want to subscribe or reorder for your own family, use your usual checkout.

Do subscription orders count?

Yes, all first orders count, whether one-time or subscription. When a new family subscribes through your link, that first order earns you credit. After that, renewals from the same family don't count as new orders. But if a different family subscribes through your link later, that's a new credit.

What if someone returns the box or requests a refund?

If a customer returns their order, that order is removed from your reward count. If you've already redeemed your discount code and a refund comes in tied to that count, we'll reach out before making any changes. We won't claw back a reward without talking to you first.

Where can I see my progress?

Log in to your ambassador dashboard here [link] to see total link clicks, orders that came from your link (Sizing Pack samples and boxes shown separately), and progress toward your next reward.

Bookmark it. We also include current stats in the monthly check-in emails.

Do I need to mention I'm in the ambassador program when I share?

Always good to be upfront. When you share with a friend, letting them know you'll get a discount on your next box if they order helps everyone feel comfortable. You don't have to write it every time, but it's a good habit.

For public posts (Facebook groups, Instagram, TikTok), please do include the disclosure. We've added it to the sample captions below.

Can I see the names of friends who have purchased through my link?

Unfortunately, sharing this information goes against our privacy policy, so we can't share purchase information with you. If you need to know if a specific person did order with your link, you can reach out to us, provide their name, and we can confirm if they've placed an order yet or not.

Anything else I should know?

A few small things:

  • Your link doesn't expire. There's no time pressure.
  • There's no quota or minimum number of shares.
  • Replies to our emails are read by an actual person on our team, so ask questions, tell us what's hard, suggest things you wish we had.
  • Each new customer's first box order with Youth Crews is what counts toward your free box.

Sample messages for sharing

These are starting points, not scripts. The version in your voice will always work better than a copied template, so please adapt freely, change anything that doesn't sound like you, and trust that the most honest version is the one that lands.

A few quick notes before you scan:

  • [link] means swap in your unique referral link from your dashboard.
  • [your child's name] or [your child] is a placeholder. Use real, an initial, or "my kid" depending on your comfort with privacy.
  • The easiest message is almost always the shortest one.
  • The free Sizing Pack sample is the low-bar share. People are much more likely to try a free sample than commit to a $100+ box.
    • Heads up: $4 shipping is contiguous US only. AK and HI are higher. If you're unsure where your friend lives, leave shipping vague ('you just pay shipping') so no one gets a surprise at checkout.

When another parent asks what you're using

This is the most common share. They've already opened the door, and you just need to answer honestly.

One-liner (text or DM):

They have a free Sizing Pack sample you can try, you just pay shipping.

 Here's our link: [link]

With a touch of context:

We've been using Youth Crews for a few months and they've made a real difference for [your child].

They have a free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping) if you want to see what fits first: [link]

A little warmer / more personal:

Honestly, Youth Crews has been the first thing that actually worked for us. They're designed specifically for older kids, not just oversized baby diapers. They have a free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping) so you can try sizes before committing to a full box: [link]

Proactively reaching out to a specific parent

When you think of someone who'd benefit and want to share without being asked.

Casual, brief:

Hey, I'm thinking of you. We use these for [your child] and they've been a real help. You can grab a free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping) if you want to try it: [link]

After a recent conversation:

Following up on what you mentioned the other day. We use Youth Crews. They have a free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping) so you can see if they fit your kid before committing. [link]

After seeing their post or message:

Saw your post and wanted to share something. We use Youth Crews for [your child] and they've been the only thing that's really worked. Their Sizing Pack sample is free, you just pay shipping: [link] No pressure! I just wanted to put it in your hands.

Replying or posting in a Facebook group or parent forum

Check the group's rules first — some allow product mentions, some don't. When in doubt, go with the "replying to a question" version rather than a standalone post.

Reply to someone asking for recommendations:

+1 to this question. We use Youth Crews...they're designed specifically for older kids. The free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping) is the easiest way to figure out if they work for your child. Here's the link: [link]

Reply that shares more context:

We had the same struggle. Found Youth Crews about [3 months] ago and it's been the first thing that actually worked. They have a free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping), and it's the easiest way to try them before buying a full box. Link if it helps: [link]

Standalone post (when group's rules allow):

Quick rec for anyone navigating the youth-diaper struggle: we use Youth Crews. They specifically design for older kids, so the material and fit are different from regular tabbed diapers, which made the difference for us. They have a free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping) so you can try before committing. Happy to answer questions, here's the link if helpful: [link]

Social media caption (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)

For ambassadors who post publicly. You don't have to (many people in the Ambassador Crew earn boxes from texts and DMs alone), but if you do, here are starting points.

Instagram / Facebook feed caption:

Finding a diaper that fits older kids has been one of the hardest parts of [our journey / parenting our child]. Youth Crews is the first thing that's actually worked for us. They have a free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping) you can try first if you want to see if it fits your family. Link in bio (or DM me for the link). (P.S. I'm part of their ambassador program, so I get a discount if you order through my link.)

Story slide (text-on-image, short):

PSA for parents with older kids who need diapers: Youth Crews makes them. Their free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping) is the easiest way to try them. Link → [link]

TikTok caption (works for a "what we use" or "things that have helped" video):

Things that have actually helped us with [topic]: Youth Crews diapers. The Sizing Pack sample is free (you just pay shipping) and honestly worth it just to see if they fit your kid. Link in bio. #ambassador

Quick follow-up replies

When someone responds to your initial share with a question.

They say "tell me more":

Sure! Youth Crews makes tabbed diapers specifically for older kids Sizes 9, 10, and 11. The fit is closer to underwear than a baby diaper. The free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping) covers all three sizes so you can find the right one before committing to a full box. [link]

They ask "what's the catch?":

The only 'catch' is I get a discount on my next order it you order through my link. Doesn't cost you anything extra. [link]

They ask "is this a referral thing?":

Yep, ambassador program. I get half off my box if you order. I'd recommend them either way though. [link]

They say "I'll think about it":

No pressure at all. The link doesn't expire if you want to come back to it later: [link]

They say "we've tried everything, nothing works":

I get it. We tried everything before this one too. The fit is actually different. Wider waist, better tabs. The free Sizing Pack sample (you just pay shipping) is the easiest way to find out if it works for your kid. [link]

A few principles when adapting these messages

Use your real voice. If "honestly" or "real talk" doesn't sound like you, cut it. If you'd use a different word for "diaper" with your friends, use that.

Lead with the problem you had, not the product. Other parents care about whether you struggled with the same thing they're struggling with, and that's the bridge. The product comes second.

The free Sizing Pack sample is your easiest ask. When in doubt, lead with it. It's a wildly easier message to send than "buy a $100 box."

For texts and DMs, you don't have to mention the ambassador program unless asked. For public posts, please include the disclosure (we've baked it into the sample captions). Most parents won't ask. If they do, be honest about it (script above). And we'd bet that those who know you would be happy to support you.
